This pet urn is a true piece of art, created with loving care by the hands our artisans. The leaves of burled maple veneer are like lace, they must be handled very delicately and are veneered to the body of the urn using old world techniques. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are impressive.
Engraving is done on the anodized aluminum plate that runs down the front. When engraved, the print comes out a silver tone, the color of aluminum. You can choose your words and font below. We recommend keeping epitaphs short as the width of the plate is narrow.
This urn is suitable for the traditional use of just pet ashes, but is roomy enough to also fit photos, collar, toys, etc.
206 cubic inches, 10 1/8" ht. x 5 7/8" x 5 7/8" (allow 1 cubic inch per pound of live weight.)
The base of the urn is removable to place your ashes into the urn. The urn stays securely closed.

WHY DOES THIS URN TAKE SO LONG TO PRODUCE?
The veneer of this pet urn is crafted by hand. The layering of the veneer creates lots of small holes that are then coated with with layers and layers of varnish, with sanding between each layer, so it is a very time consuming process.
