Silver Keepsake Memory Pendant

These keepsake style dichroic glass Memory Pendants are a lovely way to honor the memory of a beloved pet by keeping a small keepsake of them with you forever.  Beautifully crafted, these pendants encase a keepsake of a lock of hair or cremains in dazzling glass. Each pendant is completely hand made by the artist with loving care and a supreme attention to detail. This pendant is a beautiful way to combine keepsakes of two beloved pets, even pets that were best friends. For example, choose a lock of hair for a pet that is still with you and cremains for your pet that has passed away.

Composition
Your pendant will consist of 3 layers of glass set in a hand-made Argentium Silver setting. This award winning silver is the most tarnish resistant silver available today, with recognition and backing from world-leading silversmiths. Silver tarnish is what often causes allergic reactions in people that normally cannot wear silver jewelry. This break thru tarnish resistant silver is sure to be enjoyed by all.

The pendant's bottom layer is made of black glass with an iridized back, the middle layer is several pieces of different colored dichroic glass, and the top layer is a cap of clear glass. The lock of hair or cremains is encased in an airtight and watertight plastic setting and placed between the silver setting and the bottom layer of glass. Then there is a silver cutout so that your keepsake is visible in the back of the pendant. 

Choose your Lock of Hair and/or Cremains Keepsake Style
1: If you would like a lock of hair OR cremains (not both) in your pendant, the pendant will have a cutout in the back of the silver to allow the lock of hair or cremains to be seen. Click the first two small images above for closer views of the backs.
2. If you would like a lock of hair AND cremains in your pendant, the cutout in the back of the silver will allow the lock of hair to be seen.  You can choose to add "visible" cremains which will be shown in the center of the front of the pendant. Or you can choose to add "non-visible" cremains in which case they will be hidden behind a piece of colored dichroic glass in the front. The main sample picture is the non-visible cremains style and the third small sample picture above is the visible cremains style.
