Hand Painted Pet Art on Semi-Precious Stones

Laura Glusha's ability to capture the essence of animals through painting is beyond impressive. From dogs, to horses, to reptiles, to birds, she has an uncanny ability to create lifelike images of beauty.

Laura will create a painting of your dear pet from photographs that you submit to her. You will submit one photo below when ordering and then when the creative process begins you can submit more to her via email.

The type of gemstones used include howlite, petrified wood, jade, agate and jasper. The stones come in a variety of colors. Most are muted earth colors, and range from yellow, to pinks, to oranges to green (as in the case of jade) and black. Some of the stones contain agate which makes them translucent. People often love the effect of the light shining through the art. After you place your order and submit your photo you will work closely with Laura to decide on a stone type and color.

The beauty of the stones on which she paints add to the texture, color and whimsy of her pieces. You won't be disappointed! Each piece will be completely unique depending on the precious stone that is used. Pieces are on average 5" x 6" and 1/4" deep. Each piece comes with a lucite stand for easy display.  These pieces are best for indoors where the paint will not wear from weather, sun and wind.
