This graceful urn is lovingly crafted by Massachusetts based potter Lucy Fagella. Lucy’s urns are made with porcelain clay and fired in her kiln to 2100 degrees, making them strong and durable. All of Lucy’s work is hand made on the potter’s wheel. The delicate vines and leaves are completely carved by hand. You can find her signature in the form of a stamp at the bottom of each urn.

Here's how Lucy describes the inspiration for this design: "The flowing floral-like pattern is reminiscent of the abundant vines which grow at the edge of the field and the woods near my studio. I designed this urn during the winter when those vines were heavily laden with snow. The subtle clear glaze brings out the beauty of the white porcelain." The form and design are Lucy's most difficult so much care and attention goes into the sculpting of each piece so that your finished urn is a true work of art.
