He was my partner and friend through several bachelor years and then twelve years of marriage to my wife and to the first nine years of our daughters life. He was a unique Dachshund. He never bit or snapped at any person or other dog. He would chase a cat though, just for fun :). When we walked he would stay close to me all the time, never wander off.  All the kids in the neighborhood knew where Cody lived and would sometimes ring my bell and ask if Cody could come out and play. He was a very loving companion and I will forever miss him in this life.
